Meet Arianwen, a passionate energy healer committed to helping individuals on their healing journeys. Ari had built a DIY Squarespace website but she recognized the need for a professional touch to revamp her online presence. To enhance her practice and connect with a broader audience, she reached out to me to not only improve her website design but also clarify her business vision and message. 

Challenges:

Professional Online Presence + Branding: Ari's services were previously known only through word of mouth and local networking. She needed a professional online platform and logo to establish her presence and credibility.

Service Offerings and Information: Potential clients wanted detailed information about Ari's healing techniques, pricing, and availability.

Visual Storytelling: Energy healing is a personal and spiritual journey; Ari wanted to convey her story and philosophy visually.

Contact and Booking Integration: Ari needed a streamlined way for clients to contact her and book appointments.

Mobile Responsiveness: With the growing number of users accessing websites on mobile devices, Ari wanted her website to be mobile-friendly.

SEO Optimization: To reach a wider audience, Ari needed her website to rank well in search engine results.

Simple + Significant Design Solution:

During the discovery + strategy phase of my design process, it was clear that Ari needed a website that showcased her unique energy healing services, with a clear call-to-action inviting visitors to schedule a consultation. The navigation menu had to be easy to use, with clear and concise labels that make it easy for visitors to find the service they are looking for. And, Squarespace was the perfect platform as it checked all the boxes and more importantly, it was perfect for to use on her own when I was done with the website.

In the build + review phase, I started out by creating a simple logo that visualized and communicated her brand identity. Then, I created dedicated pages for each of her services, including descriptions, pricing, and appointment scheduling. I also added an "About" page to share her journey, qualifications, and mission. I also added images showcasing her healing space, sessions, and testimonials from satisfied clients. For booking and contact forms, I integrated Squarespace scheduling ensuring clients can get in touch, schedule sessions, and receive confirmation emails. Finally, I added in long tailed keywords to help optimize her website for search engines and improve its visibility.

Results:

Ari now offers her energy healing services to a global audience, shares her expertise, and fosters a strong online community around holistic wellness. The new user-friendly and responsive Squarespace website ensures seamless browsing experience on smartphones and tablets and has transformed her digital presence and made it easier for clients to find, engage with, and benefit from her healing practice. More importantly, she is managing and updating her website all on her own!
